The intro and both Titles Screens of Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius ～ Forever with me on PS1． This game is an excellent shooter by Konami and the fourth installement in the Parodius series a series of shooters games on serious crack which affectionately parodies the Gradius series first and foremost and other Konami series as well． Parody-wise this Parodius entry is notable for spoofing in spades ： ＊ Tokimeki Memorial ： Forever with you (with the 2nd stage and the title ： both Tokimeki Memorial 1 and Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius were originally games released respectively on PC-Engine and SNES and both of them got a substental remake on PS1 Tokimeki Memorial got ’the Forever with you’ subtitle when remade on PS1 so Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius spoofed this with by having the subtitle ’Forever with me’) ＊ The Twinbee series (the 3rd stage and the Parodius series as a whole use the Bell Power-up system as well as Twinbee and Winbee as playable characters and this game is no exception) ＊ The Ganbare Goemon series (via the 4th stage) ＊ The Lethal Enforcers series (via the 6th stage) ＊ Taisen Puzzle Dama (via the Boss Rush mode)． Please not that when I say ’Taisen Puzzle Dama’ I mean the original one not the themed-versions (like Twinbee TPD and Tokimemo TPD which I’ve made vids of in my channel) ones． The intro is hilarious but IMO what takes the cake in this vid is the Title Screen ： usually the Commentator will say ’Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius’ but randomly he b．．．／b
